Author's notes: The second Cardcaptor Sakura drama album contains eight "Sweet Valentine Stories." They're all stories about giving chocolate to the the person one loves. They're very sweet (Sakura giving chocolate to Yukito, Tomoyo giving chocolate to Sakura (^_^), etc), but Touya and Yukito got left out. I mean, if *Chiharu* gets one, why not To-ya+Yuki? I've been playing around with the idea, and decided to write one for them. They all follow the following format: the person who's going to give the chocolate gives a short monologue at the beginning. Then there's a dialogue between the two characters. I wanted to write this like a script for the drama album, so it was done is dialogue format. You don't know the emotions behind the words, just the words themselves (although I'll tell you their tone of voice). It was a different experience to how I'm used to writing. ^^ Just to bring you up to speed, I'm keeping this in the same continuity with the other dramas. So you'll need to know a few things. In Sakura's drama, Touya isn't around in the morning because he had to work (conveniently leaving Sakura and Yukito alone to walk to school, but I have a different twist on things). Also, Sakura asks Yukito something about university related to her brother, since they're going into third year. I don't know exactly how Yukito responded, but for this story the scene went like this: Sakura: Are you and oniisan going to the same university? Yukito: Uh...I don't know. We need to talk about this... About Valentine's Day in Japan. A girl can give a guy chocolate for two reasons. Either true love or obligation (obligation is for family members, friends, or someone who has helped you). Only girls give the chocolate (guys get their own day, White Chocolate Day). However, I bent the rules a little bit for this fanfic. ^^;; I wrote this while waiting to see the doctor. ^^; Something to do to pass the time. Cardcaptor Sakura is property of CLAMP, NHK, and Kodansha. CLAMP is god. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 'Touya' ~ "Sweet Valentine Stories" yori ~ By: Andrea Doolan Rated: PG ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kyou wa BARENTAIN DEI... Ore no ichiban suki na hito... Ore no taisetsu na hito... Yuki. Today's the day I finally tell you how I feel. God...I'm so nervous. I know the day is sort of cliche, but it was the motivation I needed. It gave me enough courage, you might say. I'm sorry I couldn't meet you this morning, but it couldn't be helped. I wanted tonight to be special, and you know I always work on Monday nights. So I had to work in the morning to get the time off. Everything seems to be falling together. All that's left to do is see how you answer... 3:25 pm Yukito: To-ya! What are you doing here? Don't you have to work today? Touya: Iya. That's why I worked this morning. Yukito: Hontou? Demo doushite? Touya: Betsuni... Aa...are you free right now? Yukito: Ee. Naze? Touya: Let's go for a walk. Yukito: Waa~~~~! Touya: You like it here? Yukito: Un! I find it so relaxing. And the fish are really beautiful. Plus there's an awesome snack bar... Touya: Do you want to get something to eat? Yukito: Arigatou! Onna: Ano... BARENTAIN DEI omedetou! Otoko: Chocolate! Arigatou, Satsuki-san. Suki yo. Onna: Un. Suki mo. Yukito: Ano ne, To-ya, today's Valentine's Day. Touya: Aa. Yukito: Sakura-chan gave me chocolate this morning. She was being so cute. Did she give you your obligation chocolate, too? Touya: A...I don't think it was...nevermind. Yukito: To-ya? Doushitano? Touya: <...> Yukito: To-ya?! Touya: You know, Yuki, we haven't talked much about university yet. Yukito: No, we haven't. Touya: I was talking with my dad, and he said Kyoto Daigaku was the best place to go with both an excellent medical programme and teacher's college... Yukito: To-ya! Touya: So what do you say? Yukito: To-ya... I think...I think it's a wonderful idea. Touya: And one other thing... Yukito: Nani? Touya: Kore. Yukito: HAATO no BOKUZU? "Ore no ichiban suki na hito e... BARENTAIN DEI omedetou. Touya yori." To-ya... Arigatou. For both the chocolate and everything else. Touya: And it's not obligation! Yukito: Hai. About university... Since we're moving to Kyoto, we'll have to find a place to stay. If we get an apartment... let's get a one bedroom. Touya: Okay. Yukito: And To-ya? Touya: Yes? Yukito: Suki mo. Zutto. ~ owari ~ RABURABU. ^_^v The aquarium is the same one featured in the anime. I forget what ep is was...it was one of the early ones, though. I have no clue what kind of university Kyoto has. ^_^; I wanted them to move away from the Tokyo area, so I just chose Kyoto Daigaku (I'm thinking about going on an exchange there in 3rd year).
