Touya's very studious, and somewhat of a loner. He attends Seijou High School where he's very good at science, especially chemistry (the bastard :P). His one social activity seems to the soccer club (I'm pretty sure he's the captain o.o;). He has the requisite "fan club" of giggling, annoying girls who relentlessly cheer his name during a game. Fortunately, he won't go out with any of them, because he's in love with his best friend, Yukito.

Touya, while in middle school, went out with a woman named Mizuki Kaho. She was a student teacher at his school at the time. Their not-so-brief (they went out for more than a year) relationship was doomed to failure when Kaho announced she was leaving for England...the next day (Touya was shocked and heartbroken, to say the least). When she left, Kaho predicted that Touya would fall in love again, and we all know how well that turned out. ^_^v

Fujitaka is one of the reincarnations of Clow Read (Eriol being the other one). Because of this, both Sakura and Touya have magic. Touya's manifests itself as the ability to see spirits, and just sense certain things around him. He especially communicates with his mother. Fujitaka knows of this ability, but Sakura doesn't (Sakura's *very* afraid of ghosts).

Touya's my favourite character. He's a very caring man with strong ties to his family, and may not have many friends, but those he does have he trusts implicitly. He has musical (he plays the piano) as well as athletic talents to augment his intellectual abilities. And he's the man of a million part-time jobs... o.O;; He's also gosh darn handsome, especially in the pic where he's playing the violin [drool]. *_* In the anime, Touya's seiyuu is the god-like Seki Tomokazu (Kamui in X, Van in Escaflowne, Ken in WK, Chichiri in FY, etc).

Yukito has an interesting relationship with several members of the cast. First is Sakura herself. Ever since Yukito has known Touya, Sakura has had a huge crush on him (and who could blame her?). A lot of the series is dedicated to Sakura outgrowing her childish crush on Yukito and developing a strong love for Syaoran. Yukito thinks of Sakura as his little sister, and is always very kind to her. When Sakura confessed her feelings for Yukito he was as gentle as possible with her. We also learn then of his definite love for Touya (yay yay YAY!), and his doubt that those feelings are returned (ooh, angst! :P). But Sakura assures him that they are.

Yukito also has an interesting relationship with Syaoran. For a good part of the series (in both anime and manga) Syaoran has a very large crush on him. We learn later that this is due to Yue, but it's still pretty hilarious. Syaoran always manages to turn a deep scarlet and stutter whenever Yukito is around. ^_^ It's too cute.

All the other information about Yukito is in the Yue section. :) Yukito's sweet, kind, smart, courageous, and gorgeous. How could you not like him? Plus his seiyuu is Ogata Megumi who is so incredibly right for him (Emeraude/Eagle in MKR, Haruka in Sailormoon (Haruka... H.H), Kurama in YYH, Shinji in EVA, etc).

Yue's kind of stand-offish and doesn't like to get close to people. He was originally completely devoted to Clow Read. It's really only speculation, but it is possible that he and Clow Read had a relationship (the evidence in the manga could go either way). It is fairly clear, however, that Yue did love Clow.

When Clow died, he sealed Yue and Cerberus in The Clow. Before he died he had planned everything out...Sakura, the cards, the Moon Bell, everything. So when Sakura started getting older, Yue awakened from The Clow, but only as his false form, Tukisiro Yukito (a form Yue did not have in the past, and one Clow made for him). Yukito in many ways is completely different from Yue, but is also the same. Both Touya and Sakura comment that the two forms are exactly the same (something Yue can't understand). It's obvious that Touya doesn't care which form Yukito is in; he loves him the same in either. Yukito was completely unaware that Yue existed until well into the Sakura Card series.

Yue didn't reveal himself until the very end of the Clow Card series. His purpose was to test the Cardcaptor, and see if he or she was worthy of being his new master/mistress. Since Syaoran had some of the cards, he was tested first, but was defeated almost immediately. Sakura was next, and could only defeat him through the strength of her character. Even though Yue was loathe to have another master, he accepted Sakura as his mistress.

In the Sakura Card series his function was to protect Sakura. Yukito would often spontaneously change into Yue, leaving the poor man disoriented when he transformed back. Because Sakura wasn't strong enough at the time to support him, Yue and Yukito began to fade out of existence. Touya confronted him about it, thus giving Yue his power, and making Yukito aware of Yue's existence.

Though a little cold, Yue is still kind, loving, and very loyal. One can think of his false self as something that was always there inside him, something Clow knew and simply brought out.

Yukito transferred to Touya's school during the first year of high school. We are given the impression that they became fast friends, and have had a close (friendly, not really romantic) relationship ever since (but that changes! Hee! ^_^v).

When we first see them it's near the beginning of second year. There are all sorts of signs that point to deeper feelings between the two. Stuff like the nicknames they call each other, (Touya calls Yukito "Yuki" and Yukito calls Touya "To-ya." ^_^v), close intimate contact (Yukito cutting Touya's hair, sitting *really* close together, gentle hands on cheeks, and stuff like that), and the fact that they aren't close at all to other people.

In anime episode 14, a girl in Touya's class confesses her love to him. He's gentle, but tells her there's someone else. Who else could that possibly be but Yukito? ^___^

There's also Akizuki Meiko, oops, I mean Nakuru (catch the reference? ^_~), aka Eriol's guardian Ruby Moon. Nakuru was created without a gender, but likes to be referred to as a girl. She *really* likes Touya. I mean, yes, she did want his power, but she also likes him. >_> She constantly hangs all over him, interrupting important conversations between Touya and Yukito. >_< Yes, she is evil.

I already mentioned this in Yukito's section, but it's relevant here, too. Sakura confesses her feelings to Yukito in tankuobon 10 (ep 65 in the anime). Yukito rejects her *very* gently, and admits to being in love with Touya. He also admits to not knowing whether Touya loves him or not, but Sakura thinks he must because he gave his power to Yue. Of course, we've known Touya loves Yukito all along, but later Touya just confirms this point. When they're talking about the power exchange, Touya is very clear that he did it so he could keep seeing Yukito. At the same time Yukito realises that all his memories are fake, but Touya reassures him by saying "after you met me, your memories are all real." (hanyaa~~n! *_*).

Touya and Yukito are my favourite couple, yaoi or otherwise. I just think they're so perfect for each other. I love them to death. ^_^
