This is just me rambling about my beloved bishounen boys (loving each
other of course! ^_~). After all, two is better than one, ne? In case you're
unfamiliar with convention, the 'x' is used to separate the couple. The person
before the 'x' is the seme (the guy on 'top') and the guy after the 'x' is
the uke (the guy on the 'bottom'). I arranged the couples the way I like
them best (sometimes I prefer one over the other as seme or uke). In the
cases where I don't care (they take turns, how nice!), I included both. ^_^
TouyaxYukito/YukitoxTouya (Cardcaptor Sakura) You've got to love CLAMP. They make these beautiful bishounen, and the fans don't have to go to the trouble of creating couples, it's already done for us! Touya and Yukito are so sweet and kawaii. The caring, loving relationship they share is quite apparent in the series. It's usually accented by loving looks, tender touches, and sweet words. And a healthy dose of making fun of one another. ^_^ On page 131 of tankoubon 10, you can really see the love in Touya's eyes. It's quite amazing. Touya's a wonderful character. He obviously cares a lot about those close to him, and will do everything in his power to protect them (as is evident with Sakura). This also applies to Yukito when his self-sacrificing nature gave something very special to Yukito (I don't want to spoil you too much). ^_^ They're my favourite couple of all time, including yaoi, yuri, and het. ^_^ DuoxHeero (Gundamwing) Oh, the handsome boys of Gundamwing. I love love love this couple. The heat and passion alone is enough to make one fall for them. But romance between them is also really good. I love it when I get to see Heero's gentle, loving side. I'm convinced there's one under all that 'ninmu ryoukai' stuff. And Duo...sure he's goofy and talks a lot, but he also wears his emotions on his sleeve, and loves Heero so completely it makes your heart ache. Besides, he's GORGEOUS! Have you seen that pic of him with his hand under his T-shirt? Ohmygod, it's so damn sexy. *_* (Go here to see it! And Heero's matching pic!) Sure, this may not be an *official* couple or anything, but, heck, it's just so much fun! The Heero and Duo in my mind exist solely in fanfics/doujinshi. And that's just fine with me. ^_^ I love my little fantasy world. My favourite kind of fics have Heero and Duo at boarding school (AU is fine), and either discovering their love, or trying to deal with it while at school. Kyaa, they're just so suteki together! One final word: yummy. ^_~ TrowaxQuatre/QuatrexTrowa (Gundamwing) I look at Trowa and Quatre as being far more romantic and able to take things slow than Heero and Duo. They're more mushy mushy RABURABU than hot steamy passion. But it depends on the fic author. ^_~ I see Quatre as gentle and loving, but also strong and confident. He's definitely capable of bringing Trowa out of his shell. On the other hand, Trowa is very quiet, and doesn't show his emotions often. I think he would see Quatre as a light in his life; his one true love. And can't you just picture them with kids? A~~ kawaii!! ^_^ They go really well together. RABURABU! KuramaxHiei (Yuu Yuu Hakushou) The classic yaoi couple (well, relatively speaking. That honour probably goes to KojixIzumi). Again, not exactly totally canon, but at least there are very subtle hints. ^_^;; But, have I seen YYH? Do I even care? Of course not! ^_^ Kurama's the passionate fox, Hiei's the reluctant and brooding fire demon. A match made in the Makai, deshou? ^_- NokoruxSuoh (CLAMP Gakuen Tanteidan) Okay, so they're only 12/11. I don't care. :P Plus they show up *older* in X!! They are *so* perfect together! They even blushed!! Nokoru's sort of a free spirit -- a gentle and kind man, and incredibly brilliant. Suoh is just what he needs to help focus him, to stabilize him, and also get him to do his paperwork. :P KaworuxShinji (Shin Seiki Evangelion) A surprising romance for Shinji, but he eventually accepts it (it's too bad ADV dumbed the dialogue down, especially in the dub). It was really nice that he was able to find love amidst total chaos, and it has a tragic end, but I think it touched a part of Shinji he didn't know was there. Fanfics on the subject are basically all the same, but they're still good. I wouldn't mind seeing some AU material... TasukixKouji (Fushigi Yuugi) Non-canon. Or is it? ^_- This is just a really fun couple. And the idea of Tasuki and Kouji together has me drooling, quite frankly, so I like it. ^_^ I *really* need to read more fanfics on this subject... |
