[Heading in Ch. 1] 11. In Which A Joy is Discovered “Don’t you want to talk?” Touya asked, sounded slightly offended. He tapped his pencil on his math book momentarily and then set it down on the ruffled pages and looked at me. My gaze seemed transfixed upon his face as I watched his tongue darted out to lick his lips nervously; his hands removing a piece of hair from his face and tucking it behind an ear. “About what?” I asked, a curious look crossing my face. Touya looked even more offended and then nudged a leaf from his pocket across the carpet. I touched its crinkly surface and then focused on Touya for a second. I kneeled on the carpet and picked the leaf up and held it to my heart. “Can I keep it?” I said softly and he nodded slowly, his lips quirking up into a smile. I took it and placed it in my bag, careful not to distroy it and then stared at Touya where he was illuminated in the soft lamplight. “Are we going to look at the book?” I said softly, glancing at the strange article from where it lay on Touya’s bed and Touya gave me a strange look. “I don’t think we should open it... after all, it is my father’s,” he whispered. “You’re right,” I said, and Touya nudged another leaf over towards me and I giggled and pushed my glasses back up onto my nose. “How many did you take?” Touya laughed and with rapid motion, pulled an armful of leaves from his bag and showered them around the room. I laughed at the snowlike effect as the leaves crinkled and covered my books in a rain of amber hues. I stared at the hypnotic light that danced across the leaves and then felt my body freeze as Touya crawled over towards me. With a maturity far surpassing his age, he gently took my hand and stared into my eyes for a moment and whispered, “You’re special.” The phrase surprised me and he saw it in my eyes and continued, “I know so. I don’t know what it is yet Yuki, but there’s something wonderful about you. Something even more wonderful than what already is.” I smiled at the bizarre compliment and watched as he slowly removed my glasses, dimming my vision. Through the hazy world that I saw, Touya sent a smouldering look filled with love and maybe... hope? Then, he leaned against me and I felt the warmth of his head against my chest as he merely rested against my body. Holding still in my kneeling position, I felt him rise for a moment and gently press my hand away from my face. The kiss that came next was soft and tasted like dew. I felt him softly tug at my lower lip in a playful motion and then I responded by nibbling against the side of his jawline. Capturing me, I felt him wrap an arm around my lower back and I leaned upwards so that I could control the kiss, feeling slightly fragile within his strong arms as I clutched at his shoulder. He broke the kiss after time and said deeply, “I’ve been waiting two years to do that.” “Was it worth it?” I asked hesitatingly. “Every second,” he replied and I sighed happily. “I don’t believe in love at first sight Touya,” I said as I nuzzled against the side of his face. He pulled away from me for a second. “Then, you don’t really love me?” he asked, a hurt look crossing his face. Sitting, a leaf crinkled under his feet as he seemed to back away from me without really moving. “Never said that,” I said, drawing him into a fierce hug. “Love takes time to develope and grow. Like a flower, it springs from your heart and bursts into bloom. Someone once told me that, though I can’t quite remember who.” I paused for a second and ran my fingers through Touya’s hair. “I love you, Touya.” I felt his form hold me tightly in a firm grasp and then roam over my body, tracing every crease and every muscle as if he fought to memorize it. I moved my hand to tug his tie loose and he bowed his head so that I could move it with a slowness that was tantalizingly effective. Each button was removed with quaking hands full of an eagerness that was based upon friendship and love. One. Two. Three. Four. Five- “Yukito-san, I have your sandwhich!” a voice said and I stared as the door started to open and jumped on it, blocking it with my body. “Kaijuu! We’re studying!” a very scared-looking Touya roared as he hastily buttoned up his shirt. I bent to help him up and our heads banged together and I laughed. “Close one,” I whispered and he replaced my glasses onto my face. Touya finished buttoning up his shirt but I grabbed his hand before the final button was connected to the fabric. “Do you have a lock for your door?” Touya nodded dumbly, his chin hitting his chest momentarily as he paused. I got up and turned the door-knob so that it locked easily after retrieving the sandwhich. Taking a bite, I set the food on his desk and then returned my gaze to the boy besides me. Touya’s confidenced seemed to have failed him as he sat, surrounded by a field of brown and red. I sat besides him and began by slowly kissing along the side of his face as I felt him lean against my touch. “Sure you want this?” I asked quietly as I paused, my breath light against his skin. He looked at me questioningly and ran a hand through my hair as he tugged at me. “Come here?” he asked softly and I fell on top of him as he pulled on my shirt, a falling jumble of limbs and leaves as I laughed like a maniac. “Touya...” “Emhm?” he replied. “This isn’t going to change anything is it?” I asked as he gently popped the buttons of my shirt with one finger. Touya watched me carefully as he stared at the light skin that was revealed as he parted the fabic. “What do you mean?” he asked, leaning on my chest. I watched as he moved, hynotized, and bit my lip. My tongue darted out to lick my lips momentarily before I blurted out the words. “We’ll still be friends right?” Touya hugged me tight and said nothing. I felt the warmth of his body against me as he nipped my earlobe and then retreated, tracing a finger along my jawline. “We’re always going to be friends, Yuki. It’s a rule. Trust-,” the darker boy whispered and I moved upwards to pull him down for a gentle kiss as I muffled his other comments and tugged loose his shirt. I broke the kiss and pulled the shirt over his head with a flourish, my eyes not leaving his. “I trust you,” I whispered, the taste of peaches still on my tongue. I felt his fingers gently move to tug a tendril of grey hair from my eyes as I peered at him through the haze that came with lack of glasses. “I guess neither of us have done this before,” he said and I laughed, jumping on him and tickling him until the look of insecurity disappeared. Then, I straddled his waist and kissed his skin softly, feeling his heart beat under my fingers. Moving, I nipped at the skin below one of Touya’s nipple and then took it into my mouth tugging softly. I heard Touya e softly and rolled it softly with my tongue until the bead hardened under my administrations. I kissed it better softly as my fingers pinched and rolled its mate, causing Touya’s breath to come out in a gasp. I trailed kisses down his body, licking softly at the hot skin until my face rested against him. I breathed softly, hot air on hot skin as I heard a moan escape from Touya. Now, my face was against the hemline of his pants and I let out a frustrated sigh. “Touya?” I asked quietly and Touya in his reverie didn’t answer for a moment. “Emm?” he whispered softly. “Why did you stop? It was so nice...” “Can I?” I said as I tugged softly at the pockets of the pants and teased the zipper gently. I could feel pressure against the fabric and marvelled slightly at what I had managed to do.
